This is a hotel with several restaurants and a really cool rooftop bar. Highly recommend checking out. There is a Japanese restaurant, a French Bistro, coffee shop, and even a Sake bar. Definitely worth visiting the rooftop in the late afternoon/early evening for the sunset!
Beautiful place to go and tour/walk around to see where the Ford Family lived. They even have a little museum there. It is just down the road from our Wedding Venue in Grosse Pointe and gives you a great view of the water and coastline.
A beautiful recently restored building done by Ford Motor Company. It is well worth a visit just to tour and is surrounded by bars and restaurants. Check before you go if you need tickets. It is changing all the time as to whether you can just walk in or if you need a reservation.
Taking a walk along the Detroit River is a really nice way to see Detroit and Canada! You can access the River Walk between the intersection of W Jefferson Ave & Rosa Parks Blvd (Detroit) and Gabriel Richard Park on E Jefferson Ave (Detroit), where there is parking.
The Dequindre Cut also runs off the river walk. Fun to ride bikes from the River Walk into Eastern Market!
You can rent bikes too!
Cool market downtown with shopping, restaurants, etc. Fun activity if you are looking for something to do outside, walk around, grab a bite to eat, etc.
An absolutely gorgeous museum just off Woodward in Downtown Detroit. It was recently named as the nation's best art museum in USA TODAY's 2024 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards. It truly is a beautiful place if you are into art and also has a really cute cafe and bar for lunch, coffee, or a cocktail.
Amazing restaurant. Fresh, farm to table. A staple restaurant in Detroit that many people call their favorite place for dinner in Detroit.
You would probably want to take an Uber/Lyft to this restaurant, but it would not be more than a 5 minute drive.
Great place for dinner. Amazing burger and cocktails. Right in downtown/midtown area!
Really great Italian restaurant - amazing apps, handmade pasta, steak, wine and cocktails.
Austin and I had our first date here, so it is extra special to us!
You would probably want to take an Uber/Lyft to this restaurant, but it would not be more than a 5 minute drive. It is right by Selden Standard and Honest Johns.
Amazing spot for oysters, seafood, champagne and wine. One of our favorite spots in Detroit. It is a tiny space, so it would not accommodate a large group but would say you would be safe with a group of 2-4 people max. Highly recommend making a reservation.
Great spot for Modern Mexican in Midtown, Detroit. Recommend taking an Uber/Lyft as it is about a 5 minute drive from downtown.
Amazing wine bar with great food. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it!
Great spot for Lunch or Dinner - one of the best burgers around, is also a butcher shop. Half-way between Grosse Pointe and Detroit.
Great Lebanese restaurant, fun vibes and right in the heart of downtown! Definitely recommend.
Cute restaurant with good food and drinks. Cute patio to sit outside if you so choose and has a little tiny market attached if you need snacks or drinks for your hotel room. Close to all the hotels and walkable!
Amazing place for lunch. Amazing Italian sandwiches, salads, and soup. Some of the best around!
Another classic dive spot in Detroit for amazing sliders, fries, and mac and cheese. Some of the cheapest drinks you will find - beer, wine and cocktails.
You would want to take an uber here. It is about 10 minutes from Downtown Detroit.
Adorable little breakfast diner - elevated casual diner food. Smaller place, so definitely arrive early or be prepared to put your name in and walk around while you wait for your table. Located in Indian Village - half way between Downtown Detroit and Grosse Pointe.
Cute little walk up window for breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and burgers. Great for a quick grab and go and right Downtown Detroit, close to all hotels. Very walkable.
Good little breakfast/brunch spot. Not far from the DIA.
An adorable bakery and coffee shop. They mostly have coffee, croissants, and pastries, but may have some other food. Very close to all hotels Downtown Detroit.
Casual divey bar/restaurant in Midtown Detroit, but great place for a hangover breakfast and a bloody or mimosa.

Another good breakfast spot downtown. Close to all hotels!
"A hot-dog restaurant" and an icon in Detroit, but an absolute dive. Amazing coney dogs and chili cheese fries, but it is certainly a no-frills kinda place. Great for late night.
