We ask that everyone find transportation to the venue (Uber or Lyft), but we do have organized transportation FROM the venue to Downtown Detroit at the end of the evening. A shuttle will start running from the venue to the Element by Westin, a centralized location downtown starting around 10:30pm with approximately three trips. The final trip will be at 1:00am.
Drop off location is TBD, but will likely be somewhere central like the Shinola Hotel.
Transportation will start taking people home after the reception around 10:30-11:00pm and will do a final trip around 1:00am, after the after party!
When and how do I need to RSVP?
Please RSVP via the website no later than May 17, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, you can always text Rachel at 586-747-7599.
Are kids allowed?
We love all the kids and babies, but we would like to keep our wedding to Adults Only. Thank you for understanding!
Is there a room block?
We did not reserve a room block, but we have several hotel options downtown Detroit that are wonderful places to stay. There are even Air Bnb options in Grosse Pointe/surrounding areas that are good options. If you need anything more specific related to accommodations, please feel free to reach out to us.
What will be served for dinner?
We will be serving apps and dinner (we want to keep it a surprise, it will be divine, we promise!) but if you have any dietary restrictions (Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, etc) please indicate that when you RSVP. There is a spot for it there. You are also welcome to reach out to us for anything else you may need.
Is there Parking at the Venue?
Yes, there is FREE valet parking included or you can self park at the venue.
How long is the drive from Downtown Detroit to the Venue at the GPYC?
Depending on the time of day and traffic, it could take anywhere from 25-35 minutes, so definitely plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?
Our Ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm, so please arrive around 4:00pm so you can get settled, grab a seat and enjoy the hopefully beautiful weather and scenery!
